Description

Noble and Proud

Noble and Proud

“Noble and Proud (Iroquois)”

This sculpture was created to demonstrate the nobility of the eastern woodland Indian.  I was inspired to do this piece following a review of a collection of narratives regarding the appearance of Native American from 1740-1815.  This collection of narratives entitled “Their Bearing is Noble and Proud” was compiled and edited by James F. O’Neill II.
